Established over 40 years ago,
JFK Builders, Inc. started out primarily as a company of carpenters. Over those 40 years, Jim Burg, the
company's founder has grown JFK Builders to include some 70+ union carpenters.
In 1979, Jeff Burg began working as a summer help rough
carpenter for JFK Builders. In 1983 after graduating
from high school, Jeff joined the union as an apprentice
and began his career as a carpenter. In the 3rd year
of his apprentice, Jeff became a roughing foreman. After
2 years of being a roughing foreman, Jeff redirected
his path to becoming a finish carpenter and due to his
attention to detail, soon became a finish foreman. After
5 years leading finish crews, Jeff focused his career
as a project manger, managing his 1st condominium complex
in Brookfield. After 9 years of managing and constructing
multi-family and single family homes, and still under
the umbrella of JFK Builders, Jeff welcomed Steve Wollersheim
to his team as a design architect. In 2003, Jeff purchased
the general contracting division from his father Jim
and officially formed JFK Design-Build, Inc.
JFK Design-Build has continued to thrive and specialize in the design and
construction of unique custom single family homes, multi-family condominiums and commercial projects.
